The Lands of Anacapia
Vianelle & Incendia
Protected & OPPRESSED...
High atop the waterfall mountain, the sleek capitol city of Vianelle towers over all of Anacapia. With its central location far from the enemies on Anacapia’s borders, and the rushing water cascading down every side of the mountain—not to mention the classified magic that prevents unauthorized entry into the city—Vianelle has earned it’s reputation as the safest place in the country.
That comforting sense of safety and security has come at a high cost. (Although most citizens haven’t realized it yet…) The once glittering, streamlined city has started to lose its sparkle as overregulation has stifled innovation and intellectual advancement. Lively debates and challenging conversations have been replaced with guarded discussions and whispered discontent.
Not that they’d risk letting a single negative thought or opinion reach Incendia, the palace of water and fire where their revered Seren Jettani resides. Dominating the center of the city, Incendia’s violet firefall walls cascade down into pristine aquamarine water geysering upwards to form a magical mist where they meet in the middle. The mesmerizing beauty of the palace must reflect the character of the benevolent ruler living within its walls—or so they erroneously believe...

Enchanting Anacapia
Whimsical wonders
Bewitching and fantastical, the lands of Anacapia are as varied as they are enchanting. Recline a while on the silky dunes of the Silver Sands desert and you might just spy cyclones dancing over the mysterious lake of fire. Rendezvous at midnight to delight in the neon sea creatures that inhabit the ebony beaches below the glowing blacklight cliffs. But don’t linger too long as you lounge by the enthralling Placid Pools, or you might never be able to leave.
Not all things in Anacapia are just as they seem. Like the creepy Corpse Copse hides a starkly beautiful clearing where midnight grass curls over the milky-white banks of a sparkling turquoise river of not-quite water. Or the bloody-looking muck of the Sanguine Slough, which just so happens to be the substance that protects you from prying eyes.
Nor should you believe everything you hear. Many of Vianelle’s residents (especially Jettani loyalists) would warn you away from venturing into The Wendings. But that once-destitute delta town has been transformed into a thriving magical amusement park filled with tantalizing treats and exhilarating attractions. Cozy up with your date on the back of a real live giant swan as you glide through the Tunnel of Love (which transforms into a family-friendly storybook ride during the day), or test your courage on the Coasting Coaster that coasts around the entire amusement park.
Wherever you venture within Anacapia, you’re sure to encounter amazing things—but if your name is Exe Parsell, you may not survive the adventure...
